Shawn McCallister is a lifelong resident of the Steel Valley area. He grew up in Munhall and he bought his first home in Munhall after graduating with a Bachelors degree from Waynesburg College. After graduation, Shawn began his teaching career for the Steel Valley School District , where he has spent the last 30 years teaching at Woodlawn Middle School, Barrett Elementary, and Steel Valley Middle/High School. He also coached both the girls and boys varsity basketball teams at the high school for 20+ years and the Point Park Men’s basketball team for 3 years. He earned his Administrative Certification from Indiana University of PA and he currently serves as the Steel Valley School District Athletic/Activities Director and the Steel Valley High School Gifted support teacher. Ready for a new challenge, Shawn received his real estate salesperson license in January 2019 and joined Vernon Realty Services as a licensed real estate agent soon after. Shawn is very proud to be from Steel Valley and he is excited and motivated to help people find their dream home in the area that he loves. Shawn is truly invested in his community. His experience in the Steel Valley area and familiarity with the Steel Valley region will be assets to both buyers and sellers. Vernon Realty Services has a newly opened office located at 4200 Main Street in Munhall and Shawn is looking forward to working out of that location.
